Stepping onto the World Stage: The Unforgettable Journey of DanceIt's South African Representatives in North Macedonia!

DanceIt Studios South African representatives have just returned triumphantly from the International Dance Organization (IDO) Hip Hop, Popping, All-Styles Battles, and Street Dance Show World Championships in scenic Skopje, North Macedonia. This journey is a remarkable milestone, especially for our younger dancers. For many in the junior and children categories, this was their very first chance to compete on an international platform.

The event was a vibrant celebration of dance, drawing 5,000 talented dancers from 36 different countries across four continents. This mix of cultures made it an exceptional experience, underscoring how dance serves as a universal language.


The lead-up to this event had everyone buzzing in the studio. Each dancer embraced the opportunity to represent South Africa, showcasing their talent and passion at a prestigious event.


For many of our junior and children dancers, this was more than just a competition; it was a dream coming to life. They had trained tirelessly for months, dedicating hours a week to perfect their routines. The pressure of performing under the international spotlight brought both excitement and a tinge of nervousness.

The outcomes from the competition were truly inspiring. Among many talented dancers, specific performances garnered attention. Amariah Singh celebrated a commendable 5th place in the Street Dance Show Solo Female Junior 2 category, a remarkable achievement.

Additionally, Janete Francisco captivated everyone with her stunning performance, earning the World Title for Street Dance Show Solo Female Adult. Her victory exemplifies the dedication and hard work.
